Accuracy and timeliness

We fact-check against official sources and date every guide (see our editorial policy), but programs change — deadlines move, amounts are re-set in budgets, rules are amended. Between our reviews and the state’s announcements, a page can be temporarily out of date. Where this site and an official state source disagree, the official source is right, and we’d appreciate a report.

We never collect application data

This site will never ask for your Social Security number, bank account, date of birth, or any application information. Any site or message doing so in our name is fraudulent — see our scam guide.
