ANCHOR payments for the 2025 application started going out October 1, 2026. The Division of Taxation's schedule also sets Senior Freeze payment windows through February 2, 2027 and Stay NJ installments through November 2027.
The FY2027 Appropriations Act, signed June 30, 2026, lowered the Stay NJ income limit for the 2025 tax year and added tiered maximum benefits. The 2024 tax year is unchanged.

The first Senior Freeze payments for the 2025 benefit year were issued July 15, 2026 for applications filed by about May 1. Later filers pay September 1, November 1, or December 1.
File your PAS-1 by November 2, 2026 and expect the first quarterly Stay NJ installment for the 2025 benefit year around February 2027, subject to state budget appropriations.
